Terence Meehan, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Meehan is the former Chairman of Fleet Meehan Specialist, Inc., the third largest specialist firm at the NYSE. Mr. Meehan was key in the formation and integrations of the firms Fleet Boston Financial and the NYSE specialist firm M.J. Meehan & Co. Fleet Meehan Specialist made markets for over 400 listed companies, accounting for 30 percent of the Dow and 18 percent of NYSE order flow. Mr. Meehan, a former governor of the NYSE and very active in industry affairs, conceptualized, created and built the Specialist Association at the NYSE, Amex, CHX, PSE/PCS and BSE and served as its president until 1995. He currently holds the position Chairman Emeritus. Mr. Meehan has served as a Floor Governor on the NYSE and was a member of several NYSE committees and advisory boards. Mr. Meehan is also a Fellow with the Foreign Policy Association, a member of the Georgetown University Board of Regents; a member of the Corporation Visiting Committee for Architecture at MIT and serves on the Board of Overseers of Harvard College’s Committee on University Resources. Mr. Meehan is a member of the Board of Directors of SupplyPro. He is active on the boards of Bread for the World Institute, Alliance to End Hunger, The Interfaith Center of New York, the New York League of Conservation Voters, the Democratic Leadership Council, as well as the Advisory Board of The Catholic Big Sisters & Big Brothers. Mr. Edwards has been at Azimuth since 2003 in various roles and was instrumental in helping to design and build Azimuth’s analytical risk management framework. His main responsibilities include manager selection and monitoring, due diligence, constructing and implementing portfolio overlays, IT support as well as time series and database management. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing with honors from the University of Miami (FL) and earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation in March 2008.AJ Frenzel, Controller
Ms. Frenzel joined Azimuth in 2004 and has held various roles within finance and operations. Her current responsibilities include fund accounting, cash management, service provider relationships, investor services, HR, and bookkeeping. Prior to joining Azimuth, she spent five years as the director of Zorongo Flamenco Dance School, in Minneapolis, MN where she spearheaded studio operations and accounting. Ms. Frenzel also spent three years with the University of Minnesota’s Parking and Transportation services where she served as Operations Supervisor. Mr. Gerard joined Azimuth in 2005. He has held various roles and served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer since Azimuth's formation and as President of its previously affiliated entities since February 2005. He is currently a Special Advisor to the Chairman of the New York Private Bank & Trust. Prior to joining Azimuth, he served in executive capacities at: Wrightington Limited; Tosco Corporation; Seminole Fertilizer Corporation; Atlantic Fertilizer & Chemical Corp.; Phosphate Industries, Inc.; Gulf Atlantic Corp.; Tendler, Beretz Associates, Ltd.; and the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. Mr. Gerard holds a B.A. from Harvard College and attended the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
